Sing UK

The Worcester International Festival for Young Singers

Sing UK works with partners in the field of education, music and community development to deliver exciting, quality singing projects in schools and local communities, together with high-profile national events. It works with children and young people, their families, teachers and local authorities throughout the UK to create programmes which suit local needs.

In July 2013 Sing UK presented the first-ever non-competitive international festival for children’s and youth choirs in the UK – the Worcester International Festival for Young Singers 2013 (WIFYS – pronounced “Why-Fiss”). This ground breaking vibrant arts event attracted 400 young singers from some of the most outstanding youth choirs in the UK, Europe and beyond.

In September 2012 I joined the team at WIFYS and worked on their national PR campaign.
